Today was the first time I listened to this album in full. ‘The Suburbs’ is a great collection of catchy and melodic tunes with some great lyrics about the futility and repetitive nature of suburban life. This kind of subject really speaks to me as I have written songs about it myself, and consider escaping suburban England into the city to be a very important thing. Really recommend listening to this album.
